While I thought the writing was great and I really enjoyed the time/place that was used as the setting in Cape May in the end the story just wasn't for me. I struggled with the character's and the drama just frustrated me and made me want to stop reading rather than pull me and keep me reading.
The setting was great and I loved the descriptions of the slightly deserted fill to the empty town in the off season, the time period was used and I could definitely picture these main character's in this small town on the Jersey cost.
I still loved the cover after reading the book and think it was a great choice for this book. I would be interested to read the author's next book as I did think the writing was well done.
