I’m not quite sure about this book. I love the cover and thought at first it was a love story, which in a way, it is. I love how it pulled me in and is set in thetime it is. And to visit a beach town during the off season, I love it! That’s what my husband and I love to do. Henry and Effie are just married and their love is so young and tender. They are just learning about sex and each other and are so shy. I didn’t like the last chapter we got to read. It was too dramatic for me without enough happening. Just a bunch of babble. I feel like it’s going to expose the couple to some wild happenings which will either make them a stronger couple who learn more about sex and pleasuring each other or it will break them apart due to them being just married. Maybe I just have a dirty mind lol. I think what I didn’t like is the people they meet at the party, especially the hostess. But I’m sure they are curious and tempted to stay. I want to know what happens but I’m not sure I want to know bad enough to commit to the read. I can’t bear heartbreak of a love breaking up. I’m sure this will be a real hit and I wish the author all the best but I’m not sure it’s for me.
