Once again Wilbur Smith has a new novel on BookishFirst. And once again, his novel has a fantastic looking cover. Described as an action-packed read, and a sequel to another novel, this is a tale about revenge.
If I’m being entirely honest, I don’t think this book is for me. For one thing, I haven’t read the rest of the novels in this series, so a prequel just isn’t going to have the same impact for me. For another thing, I just really couldn’t get into the first look. Also, the subject and themes are something I found to be off-putting. But maybe that’s just me?
