This book was a delight to read and an utter pleasure to write! Since it was so well suited to a contemporary setting, this new retelling of Persuasion was so wonderful to me. Without being a retelling dressed in a new wardrobe, the plot and main characters were recognizable to readers familiar with Persuasion. He found the scenarios and characters to be realistic and relatable.
