I LOVED IT! I finished BY THE BOOK in one day. It was well written and easy to read.
Poor Anne gave up her relationship because she thought she had to sacrifice it for her career plan. It turns out it is possible to have both. But then again, who knows. If her and Adam hadn't broken up when they did, it's possible that neither one of them would have ended up where they were and they might not have achieved the same success. It is possible that if they had stayed together they could have grown to resent their relationship. On the other hand, they may have wasted 10 years of their lives over a petty argument that could have been talked through if either one of them had swallowed their pride and said "sorry."
