A new author to me so wasn't sure if I would enjoy reading this book but wanted to give it a try. I was impressed in the writing style and glad I read it. Well written pulling you in from the start. Slow in parts but keeps your interest to the end.
Parts not related to any reference of Jane Austen's Persuasion but the book says it is a modern retelling of Persuasion which is true. Witty parts put this story in the modern real world we all live in.
