This was a stunning debut. It was so much more than I expected it to be. The prose was witty and kept me reading it. The characters were strong and not over descriptive. A great story about Ann Corey. An English professor at Fairfax College trying to score her first book deal. Anne is on her way to the top until it all starts turning upside down. The arrival of her ex fiance Alex who is Fairfax's new president. Her hot boyfriend who not only is he not who he says he is find himself scandalized. Then one of Anne's students confides in her that she is in a relationship with her teacher which is Anne's hot boyfriend. Then there is this never forgetting your first love thing happening with Alex. This is a great read. A book lovers book.
