I am beyond thrilled that I chose to use my points that I earned to receive this book. It is INCREDIBLE! I feel like one of the major reasons that I connected to this book so strongly is my own background in English. I felt exactly what the character was feeling regarding her studies, her scholarship, and her teaching experience. I felt the same pain that she felt in grad school. I know what it is like to choose academia above all else. Anne is a perfect character match to my soul. I really look forward to reading anything else that this author has created. Her storytelling skills are superb. I did something I haven't been able to do in a long time with this book: finished it in one day! Magical!
