Lightly based on Jane Austen's Persuasion, I enjoyed this light, bookish read! Despite the premise, this story was so much more than just a romance. In fact, the romance remained in the background for much of it. If you love books about books/authors as much as I do, then I'd recommend adding this one to your list. It is a bit predictable at times but enjoyable nonetheless.
This year I am challenging myself to read as many books each month of a certain theme. In August 2022, the theme was Books About Books so I was excited to finally fit in this one. And I ended up reading 11 in all. Out of those 11, this one was definitely one of my favorites.
