I haven't read Persuasion, but am a fan of Austen's other works and am intrigued by this modern take on Persuasion. It seems like a fun, light read with a wonderfully bookish heroine and, of course, relational drama worthy of Austen. Having it set at a college is interesting, a structured environment with its own insular culture and set of norms that reminds me of the very governed lifestyle of Austen's characters.
