This book pulled me in right away, by chapter two I really liked the main character and felt like I knew her. I love the references to books like Middlemarch and of course, Jane Austen's. I really like that in the text conversations between the main character and her best friend they type like normal people do... too many books have everyone typing in ridiculous shorthand!
