I'm going back through the older excerpts when I have the chance in order to review them for additional points. While I haven't downloaded all of the excerpts yet, I've hit a great many of them, and for ease and convenience, I'm adding reviews in mostly alphabetical order. Sometimes reading through an excerpt will convince me to give a particular book a chance, though of those ~15% that sound like they're something I might wind up being interested in, most of the books with excerpts on here that actually sound appealing (about 95%), aren't those that I would purchase full price - thriftbooks here I come! In this case, however, this falls into the category of "at least this was an excerpt and I didn't pay anything to sear this nonsense into my eyeballs." It's bad. Really bad. The details are overdone to the point that it sounds like a regency novel. It's setup like a bad chicklit on top of that, and the descriptions are absolutely terrible, with characters that are flatter than a shim. Don't waste your time with this one.
