When a body is found burned beyond recognition, and money from a decades old train robbery is found burned along with it, detectives Jack Warr, and his superior, have to figure out who the burned body is, and what the money is doing there. In finding the answers to the body, Jack uncovers many secrets.
I read Lynda La Plantes previous book She’s Out, that was about the train robbery and loved it. I was so excited to read this one, as it tells you what happened to the characters from the previous book. I loved this book. Another great read form this author. The characters were wonderfully written, and you can picture everything that happened on the book. It had me drawn in from the first page. As I was so interested in seeing who the body was, and whether or not the characters from the previous book would get to live a happy life. I am so glad that this is part of a new series, because I loved the character of Jack Warr, and his struggle to be a good cop partner. I definitely recommend this book if you love a crime/mystery book.
