I really enjoyed this book by Lynda La Plante. I had heard such great things about her writing and was excited to read this book by such a well reviewed mystery writer. I love mystery stories that make you follow the money, so this book combined by interests and my love of crime stories quite well. While the book had a lot of characters, which can seem a bit overwhelming at first, mysteries are always better when they have enough characters to keep the reader guessing throughout the entire book. This was a very easy and quick read and I didn't want to put it down once I really got into it. I'm glad I finally tried reading something by Lynda La Plante, and I truly am not sure why I waited so long. I'm so excited to read everything else she has published and look forward to reading more books in this new series. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Judas Horse, the next book in this series!
