The synopsis of this book seems intriguing, but I am not drawn into the author’s writing style and do not feel any connection to any of the characters who were quickly introduced. It reminds me a bit of Kate Atkinson’s Jackson Brodie series in how it jumps from character to character so you get bits from each until they all come together for the resolution, but unlike Atkinson, I am not left wanting more of any of these characters. It reads quickly, though, and for super fans of quick mysteries/thrillers, this would probably be a good enough weekend read.
