I realized on page 9 I loved these characters and wanted to become friends with them. They all seemed like they had such great, unique qualities to them and their interactions with each other up to that point was so natural. That continued for the rest of the first look that we were given. I really enjoyed the mystery part. I want to see how it is solved and go on this journey with the characters. The world the author has created is amazing. It is so vivid. Seeing how the cottage faired by the state of the rose beds was a nice touch.
