Want a small town, feel good tale with a little bit of mystery? This is it!!! I have always loved tales about small towns that are filled with lovable, quirky people and this has that and more!! I rate it right up there with Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove, Dakota, and Rose Inn series!!! I must say that out of all of the characters in this book, my favorite was Pecos. Yeah, I really loved Piper, the spunky mayor of Honey Creek and her Trooper, Colby. Can't forget Sam, the preacher/firefighter and his fiery lady, Anna. Not to mention Stella, Ben, Daily, Mr Winston and more. Yet, it was Pecos who won my heart from to beginning. This kid is just beginning his life in Honey Creek. Hopefully with Kerrie always by his side. I look forward to going back to Honey Creek and visiting all my wonderful new friends and I will, next year!!! Highly recommend this book to everyone!!!
