A bit Muddled

This was alright. I found the very minor secondary story about Pecos to be the most interesting of this whole book. It was sweet, there was adversity, and ultimately I found myself being more compelled to find out whether he and his new bride had a happily ever after than what happened with the Piper or Colby or Sam. I really couldn't bring myself to care two figs about them as they were such flat duds. OMG their sections were snooze fests and that's even with a mystery to supposedly keep the interest going!
Overall I would just have rather read a book about Pecos and skipped all of the other characters and their convoluted plotlines all together. And given that this is the start of a series I don't think I can bring myself to slog through more of the Piper/Colby will they won't they (I DON'T CARE!) drama just to find out what happens with Pecos.
