This was my first Jodi Thomas book and it was a cute, fun, and very light read. It was presented in the vein of Virgin River with it's multiple point of views, intersecting story lines, and quirky citizens. Although, this was much quirkier and lighter in tone. It wasn't predictable at all and I enjoyed it. This read like witty women's fiction with three separate romances weaving in and around a mystery/suspense story line. When the story opened, I had a completely opposite idea of where the story was headed. I did not go there. Haha. I loved that the romances and the love interests were all a surprise. There were also some very sweet and poignant moments centered around a young adult romance. Even now, thinking back, I feel a special warming of my heart. I'm excited to continue on with the series and more stories of this town and it's inhabitants/
