Ever since the mayor's "fiance" disappeared, the town of Honey Creek and elsewhere in Texas are buzzing about how and why he disappeared - and if Piper had anything to do with it. Meanwhile Honey Creek has two new temporary residents that are likely to have a pull on Mayor Piper's heart. Enjoyable small town story with some mystery, not dull but not so engaging that it really draws me in.
