My first opinion of this book (from reading the beginning of the First Look) was not very good. It seemed predictable....a story about a man trying to find who he is after expericing a devastating loss. Relatable yet predictable. However, as I read on, twists kept occurring that kept me completely enveloped in the story! Things I never expected to happen happened and it's always a good book when there's something unpredictable and surprising going on. I absolutely loved this first look and I cannot wait to read more! 5 stars from me! Also, I live in Texas, which is where the story takes places and it just makes it that much more relatable. Love, love, loved it!!
