"Break This House" by Candice Iloh feels like the modern novel that has needed to be seen. Just in the quick look one can see that it expresses a lived experience that is relatively common, but not often shown in text (especially older ones). I am so glad this book exists. I hope it does well. The writing is engaging and realistic. The interactions between characters honest.
