It was okay
The book starts with the main character, Minah, finding out that her estranged mother died after receiving a facebook message from her cousin. While I certainly felt sympathy for her, there just wasn't enough of an established relationship or character for it to really have much of an emotional impact, and it didn't seem like it has that much of an impact on Minah either. It's an interesting start but I'm not especially eager to keep reading.
