I felt completely immersed in Brooklyn while reading this. The first look is written so well that it feels as though I was right there with Minah as she walked through the streets of Crown Heights, and it's captured perfectly on paper.
I'm curious about what's going on, and the first look provides just enough to make me want more ... now. Minah's character is dealing with some tough stuff and major changes in her life, and I want to see what happens to her throughout this story.
