I don’t see a point to any of these short stories. The first short story was atrocious. Thirty-nine-year-old married lady sneaks off and has affair solely because she’s obsessed with getting pregnant after five miscarriages? Wow, way to set women back 100 years. Then narrator says he kept seeing her until he put a baby in her? Gag me with a spoon. Yuck, who talks like that especially when you’re intentionally getting another man’s wife pregnant?! Oh, and I forgot to mention this dirtbag has his own wife and kid back home. In fact, his wife was pregnant while he was off impregnating this baby monger! Imagine the outrage if a man snuck off on his wife who’d had five miscarriages to knock up someone else because he was so baby obsessed?
At least the first story made me disgusted, the others are just meh and not even worth commenting about.
