I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the character Jane Tennison. I enjoy hearing about how her rise up as Detective. It truly is a good detective series. There is a lot of twists and turns that keep you hooked and wanting more. This series is a must read and you will not be dissappointed.
Detective Jane Tennison seems to always be assigned the most brutal cases and this is no exception. The bloodier and gruesom the better. I like to see how her and her partner dig into each case as each one is unique. There is a different kind of mystery in each case she deals with and how she dissects each one to solve them.
Lynda Plante writing is so detailed but in a way that you feel like you are right there working the case. She is a newer author for me and I am glad I found her. I am curious to see what evolves and what case(s) could be next. Its never a dull moment with this Detective.
