Blunt Force is a crime novel that begins with the gruesome murder of a high profile entertainment agent. Foxley was a successful business man and agent to lots of famous movie stars, directors, etc. Tennison works the case with her fellow detectives but finds it difficult to come up with a suspect. The detectives get more than they bargained for as they collect evidence in hopes to find Foxley's murderer.
I like crime novels and I enjoy thrillers. This book however just didn't do it for me. At times it felt repetitive. It was also extremely long. I had a tough time staying engaged. This is also the newest of a series of books using the main character Tennison. I have not read any of the other ones, but this book did seem to stand on its own. I didn't feel that I had missed anything. I wish it was a little more fast paced with a little more action.
