I've tried reading other First Looks from books by Lynda LaPlante but I just can't seem to really get into the story or the characters. It could be that the vibe of the book is a bit too tame for my taste. I enjoy more, drama, more action (and even a bit more violence) than what her books seem to provide. I like the cover and how the silhouette of the figure fits in nicely among the text.
