"Bluff" was a wild ride, but not in the way that I would like. Our main character, Maud, is a mad woman. She's practically Patrick Bateman in personality, but with a little less killing. I think this is supposed to be a comedy / action / drama, but it comes off as weirdly toned. I did not sympathize with her character, did not find her funny, did not want to continue reading. I really did not like this book, and I'm sad to say that. I would read another book by this author, because her writing style is frenzied and frantic, which can be great in a different type of book.

I do not think I'm the target audience for this book. I did not "get it", the way that I should have. Perhaps people older than me would like it more.

I received this as a complimentary copy for reviewing purposes.
