At first I appreciated the detailed description/assessment of people, but as I read on I began to think "I hope the author eases up" and I began to skim read. And then all of a sudden we're told our main character was supposed to have been killed and my intrigue perks up 0 to a 100! Ready to dive deep into this crime/thriller!
