Holy Bloodwitch!
I’m not entirely sure of the reason, but I went into this book thinking that this addition to the series was the last book. Because of this fact I was completely taken by surprise by this ending. I mean, I was expecting everything to be wrapped up and it wasn’t!
I can’t quite figure out if I am disappointed or thrilled that Bloodwitch was not the conclusion to The Witchlands. I’m thinking it’s a little bit of both. I desperately want to know how this series ends but at the same time I never want it to end.
I was hesitant after the first book to continue. It took me quite a while to get into it and I felt as though I couldn’t remember many details. With Windwitch, the second book, I was more interested but still a little bit hazy on the details. But Bloodwitch, BLOODWITCH. What a book. I LOVED this book. I have to know what happens to my Bloodwitch. And yes I did just claim him as my own.
