A big thank you to BookishFirst for sending me not only Bloodwitch, but the first two books in this sweeping fantasy trilogy.

I read all three books back to back and got swept into the world, the characters, the magic and all of the heartache.

It's difficult to fully review this book without any spoilers because these books flow easily from book to book and Bloodwitch picks up immediately where Windwitch left off.

Susan Dennard has created this beautifully epic world that is being ravaged and torn apart by a war that most hoped would never come. In this third book of The Witchlands series you see relationships deepen between characters, a few most unlikely. We are given a look into Aeduans tragic history as a young child discovering he has the powers of a Bloodwitch. It brings heartache and frustration and sets him on his path as the hard and savage character we know (and love) him as.

Truly a pleasure to read and I really hope that there will be more in this series. It's unclear if this will remain as a trilogy or if we can expect more but I do hope there's more!
