Unfamiliar

I haven't read any of the other books so I was very confused by the world that I entered and the characters that I was getting to walk alongside. With that in mind I will refrain from writing my impression of the book itself. The cover, though, fits the story--it is strong and powerful. Which was what I got from what I read. Though, and the title covers this, what I read was rather bloody.
