Besides the fact that I have waited a long time for this third book to be released, I am also quite happy to know that we will be primarily following the character of Aeduan, a favorite of mine from the previous Witchlands installments.

Because from the tantalizing first chapter to his engaging interactions with Iseult, Aeduan already presents compelling struggles that make me care about this character. Not to mention, the prose itself is straightforward yet strangely poetic, which is befitting of the grim nature of this story.

The multiple POVs and complex yet digestible world-building presents a steady yet urgent pace, and I highly enjoyed the tidbit that I read. Can't wait to continue!
