Murder mystery and magic with a dash of romance, who could ask for more! And the cover is absolutely gorgeous!! I really enjoyed this book, the characters were strong and the details were fantastic. Loved that it wasn’t overly romantic but just enough to keep it sweet. Also the magical element to it wasn’t overbearing, it made me wish I had some moon magic.
The murderer wasn’t who I expected at all, so I was pleasantly surprised in the end. And I don’t want to give too much away but I feel the writer was very sensitive writing about the ‘illness’ that’s prominent in the book and how loved ones struggle along with them. I guess we don’t always realize that aspect of it unless we’re directly involved. Like she said, we all live in cages and only the lucky ones get to choose which cages. I’ll definitely recommend this book, it’s magical and mysterious!
