My friend let me borrow her copy of this book after I almost bought it when we were together lol, anyway the cover is absolutely gorgeous and I am in love with it!
The book itself was amazing from the very beginning, and that protagonist Catrin was my favorite character by far! She's so fun and such a lovely, well-written character!
The story follows along with Catrin (Cat) hearing a woman screaming, when Cat goes to investigate she sees a cloaked man and a dead woman...
There is also an amazing magic system too! And Simon's character was great, credit to the author for managing to create such an amazing book! I loved every moment and will definitely be picking up a psychical copy so I can put it up on my bookshelves <3
So overall, I highly highly highly recommend you go pick up this book from your local bookstore and give it a read! 10/10, will probably re-read! <33
