First the cover is beautiful but doesn’t do much to convey the horror inside. A lot of mystery and fantasy with just the right dash of romance.
The mystery kept me guessing until the reveal. I thought I was sure I knew who did it but would than second guess myself. In the end I was wrong anyways but I did figure it out before the reveal.
The fantasy element is wonderful. Easy to understand but paints a picture of a completely new and magical world.
The romance is sweet and heartbreaking. You root for them and can’t help but wonder what the future will bring to them.
Overall the characters are easy to love and draw you in to the point where you want them to stay long after the story is finished. I had a hard time putting this book down, the different elements were weaved together perfectly and gave you a taste of everything with every page. A must read.
