I am already enraptured by the gothic promise of this novel. I'm a big fan of murder mysteries and fantasy both, so it was easy to be drawn in by the atmosphere of myth, magic, and romance combined with the delicious tension of a good mystery. I also love the idea of an architect protagonist - I have a lot of fun with unique fantasy professions.
