The first look of Blood and Moonlight by Erin Beaty opens with the protagonist, Catrin, witnessing a figure running away from the scene of a murder. I really like the setting of this book. The city of Collis seems to be mix elements of Paris and a fantasy world with Gothic architecture. I'm excited to read more!
