I really enjoyed this first peek at Catrin’s life and the world she lives in. With the unique profession of ensuring safety by climbing partially constructed buildings to check for problems, she has a prime vantage point to see a potential murderer flee a crime scene. She has a strange vision and hears Perrette calling for help in her head, which almost causes her to plunge to her own demise. As she tries to rush to aid her, she finds the girl brutally murdered! A great start with this one, and I’m excited to read more!
