I am eager to read more!
What I loved about this is how quickly it dives into the mystery. Who killed Perrete? And why? There is so much more to be explored with this situation. The world Beaty has created is unlike anything I have read before; I want to discover so much more. I do believe there is more to unpack concerning these characters, especially Simon. His last remark in Chapter Three was quite haunting. The First Impression is very promising!
I think the cover is beautiful, yet eerie. With Catrin at the center, you are left to wonder why she is trapped in these vines, surrounded by a mesmerizing atmosphere.
