Been eager to read more from this authors work since the release of her other duology. The characters she created are easily followable, quick for you to relate especially given this main character Zia struggles with anxiety which I could highly relate towards, aside of that she’s still this enjoyable root for character. She creates mesmerizing worlds with a depth that has a sorta youre home and just eager to take a seat and surround yourself.
This one follows a unique idea of the blacksmith variety, (at least for me since I don’t commonly read numerous fantasy or even high fantasy yearly this was a nice break from my usual binge reads) it’s definitely got a smidge of romance, sisterly love and not the thrust upon you over whelming kind, plot twists that are major left field shocking. I’m still a bit wow over it and cannot wait for the sequel to hopefully continue right off where we left cause that just cannot be the end.
