Tricia Levenseller is one of my favorite authors! I loved the daughter of the pirate king duopoly and the shadows between us. I loved Blade of Secrets too! It's another Young Adult fantasy book full of adventure, sword fights, and magic. It also has mental health representation, specifically social anxiety and panic attacks which is something I really struggle with. I also loved the romance and the banter in this book. The character was really funny and easy to relate to. Despite her anxiety Ziva makes crazy powerful weapons. I also loved her sister Temra but Kellyn was my favorite character overall. I liked all the characters! As well as the social anxiety rep, there's also POC, and casual LGBT+ rep. This book is easy to binge in one sitting. The only thing I didn't like in this book was all the traveling. I recommend if you like the author's other books!
