Just finished this in two days and I really enjoyed it immensely. It was a lot of fun with out being too heavy or dense of a storyline. And do not let the "just ok" cover fool you (while I do love the gold color scheme), if you like romance and adventure than you need to check out this novel!
Blade of Secrets is set in a world where magic is real, but only to a small select few. One of which happens to be our protagonist Ziva, who can forge enchanted weapons. Ziva was an interesting character, who has lived a sheltered life dur to her extreme social anxiety. Her sister on the other hand, is a badass social butterfly and always watches over her sister, and they are pair perfectly together. It was a breath of fresh air that the main relationship was between the sisters versus the romance (although the romance was definitely swoon worthy). The plot was well paced and didn't get bogged down. I excitedly waiting for the release of the sequel.
