What a book.
How do I know if I have whiplash from reading? Anyone know to find out?
This one came to me as an advanced readers copy from
So fast paced that it leaves you trying to catch your breath and get caught up.
Take Wolf of Wall Street, add an African American Starbucks shift manager and you’ve got the same concept.
The book was enjoyable, don’t me wrong...but it was a little far fetched at some points that I was left looking around like “what am I reading?” 🤨
I’m not sure I was prepared for the bluntness of this one either, so prepare yourself for intense language and some hit button issues.
Overall, it gets my approval with the condition of being prepared for the whirlwind!

Darren, a shift manager at Starbucks gets the opportunity to better himself and his situation, when the CEO of a start up company recognizes his potential.
Rags to riches!
