It took me a long time to get into this book. I found it much easier to listen to the audiobook, the narrator made it super fun.
I found this to be very unique and different. Like nothing I’ve ever read before. I have never seen the movies that this was compared to so I had nothing to compare it with.
It’s supposed to be satire which I constantly had to keep reminding myself of.
I do think that this book is just not for me. I found myself bored a lot. The plot just didn’t have enough action for me.
While I just didn’t care for it I still can see that it’s very well written and the plot is so important in these times.
One of the reasons I found it hard to read was the way our main character was treated. It made me cringe and angry at times. Though I know it’s reality it was still upsetting!
