I was able to listen to this book on audio, and that format was EXCELLENT for this book. Mateo Askaripour's writing is incisive and compelling, and narrator Zeno Robinson truly brings this story to life with excellent characterization for each of the many characters and a pacing that works excellently. This book has numerous plot points that take a turn that surprised and shocked me.
While I've now long left the corporate world behind, and never was in sales, this book also is an excellent takedown of the racism and classism in the corporate world, with a particular focus on sales. The excesses of corporate greed are on full display, and what that can do to those exposed to it. This story ran the emotional gamut- I laughed, I was shocked, I was saddened, I was incensed. Overall a great story, and I'd urge audiobook listeners to try that format!
