It was a bit jarring to start off at chapter 5, but as that is when Darren is starting his new job, it was an alright place to start. The office dynamic certainly is interesting, and I can definitely see where the satirical elements can come into play. I'm just really not interested in this one, so I think I'll give it a pass. The chapters I've read seem to be well-written, and I'm sure the storyline will play out great, but it just doesn't seem like a book for me.
