This excerpt is one of those things that you won't believe until you read it. While it's fiction, it feels very rooted in reality- frighteningly so. Any book focusing on high stakes Wall Street type companies reminds me why I'd never have been cut out for that environment and this seems like the kind of story that will drive home that toxicity.
