Honestly, I wasn't sure I would like this based on the description, but I was immediately drawn in as I read the first twenty-five pages. The multiple points of view is so effective - Beatrix, her parents, Nancy - all the different perspectives make for an engrossing and emotional start to this novel. I'm looking forward to reading more!
